Customers are able to order a train up to 36 hours before departure, for example. And an order can be canceled free of charge up to 36 hours before the scheduled departure time.

RAILIONoil-solution is professionally managed by the Mineral Oil team at the CustomerServiceCenter, who work right round the clock. The team members are all well versed in the special features of the industry. The Mineral Oil team are your point of contact for coordinating and booking the transport you require. Their end-to-end monitoring of the trains, from order placement through to arrival, ensures a high quality of service.

Inclusive and optional service modules

As well as incorporating a Responsible Care service module (a comprehensive safety management system for hazardous goods), this sector-specific product also includes Proactive Customer Information. If a consignment should be held up because construction work has to be carried out on the line at short notice, customers will be informed immediately and appropriate steps taken.

In addition to this, RAILIONoil-solution offers optional service modules to ensure efficient supply chain management, such as Plant Logistics and Daily Transport Status Information, which provides information about the current status of selected groups of freight cars.

As a supplementary service, control of feeder traffic to the oil depot is also offered for all freight trains (if desired, this may also be provided by other rail transport companies). Here again the Mineral Oil team will take on the task of coordinating operations with customers, suppliers and recipients.
