skip: Railion Nederland: The effective connection to the western portsSince 1999 Railion Nederland has been Railion's national corporation for the Netherlands, with its head office in Utrecht. In the Railion network Railion Nederland is an important connecting link with the ARA ports and the Dutch and Belgian economic centers.
Railion Nederland is the only freight railroad in the Netherlands to offer a single freight car system with area-wide coverage, and connects the important western ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam (the ARA ports) seamlessly with the Railion network.
The centerpiece of production in the Netherlands is the switching yard at Kijfhoek, from which end-to-end train services radiate out into all the important economic regions in Germany.
