Our processes are controlled kept constant and are subject to analysis time and again to continually optimize performance. The areas of industrial safety and fire protection were also successfully integrated into the management system in 2003.

The environment management system has been fine-tuned parallel to changes in our organizational structure, making Railion a byword for environmentally-friendly and safe transport services, especially in comparison with road haulage.

Environmentally friendly waste disposal

Railion is also active in waste and disposal logistics. While the volumes transported in this area remain relatively low, the legal requirements for the careful handling of waste are stringent. Railion has extended its capacities in this area by gaining certification as a specialist waste disposal operator and becoming a member of the transport and environment waste association (Entsorgergemeinschaft Transport und Umwelt e.V.). We are thus able to fulfil our customers' expectations by guaranteeing smooth and verifiably secure transportation. On top of that, we also fully meet the strict requirements placed on specialist waste disposal operators in terms of organization, equipment and activities.
