BTT offers enormous flexibility, with customized products and all-round logistics solutions. Based on Combined Transport or single freight car transport, BTT organizes pre-carriage and onward carriage by road, transshipment at the terminal and the main leg of the journey by rail, on all European routes. Chemicals and mineral oil

In this field Deutsche Bahn plays a major part, as a safe, environmentally friendly, economical and powerful means of transport. Safety and reliability are at the top of the agenda.

From provision of the most suitable equipment to the loading of the freight, followed by punctual delivery to the customer, BTT works with Railion's Chemicals / Mineral Oil / Fertilizers market unit to deliver customized solutions.

Fertilizers

To make it possible for today's fertilizers to be strewn just at the right point in time, you need backup from sophisticated logistics. BTT organizes uninterrupted transport chains for this purpose, making use of all carriers and ensuring reliable delivery to any destination.

Sector-specific products

• RAILIONchem-solution is the first purely sector-specific transport system. Every year BTT carries 50 million tons of chemicals, mineral oil products and fertilizers – with close attention to the nature of the products to be carried, and consideration for the customer's preferences.
  The Netherlands and Belgium, with their ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, already form part of the system. A further expansion, nationally and internationally – to include Austria and Denmark – is in the pipeline.
• RAILIONoil-solution is the product of choice for the flexible and reliable shipment of mineral oils. So far it has only been offered on certain selected routes within Germany. RAILIONoil-solution links the benefits of Railion's Plantrain and Flextrain products – offering maximum flexibility without loss of quality, and coupled with a flexible pricing policy.

Rail tanker management

On request, BTT can take full responsibility for the management of your rail tankers. In this case BTT rents the rail tankers, with central administration and scheduling, and monitors all shipments.
